This is pretty cool. The extra wavy-gravyness of the strings is most likely caused by the rolling shutter issue in some digital cameras. Because the censor scans line by line, it doesn't actually capture each frame of video at the exact same moment. Since row 1 of pixels is recorded milliseconds before the second row, the undulations are exagerated within each frame. Or something. Science.
