Carmageddon (or perhaps Karma-geddon?) is swiftly approaching. In this article from The Los Angeles Times, it's looking like a lot of creative solutions will be put into action to help people get from the valley to the west side. It reads like a story from The Onion. From pack mules carrying people over the pass to off-roading Hummers on the coyote trails, clearly they are expecting some very desperate people. My favorite:
"Southwest Airlines, meanwhile, has announced weekend service from Bob Hope Airport to LAX, with departures every four minutes. Flight time will be 48 seconds, and there will be no drink service on the route."
