"This video was a final exam in a TV production class that I took at Ohio State back in the spring of 1971. Even as a lad of 21, I always had to have everything preserved!! I had this taped on 1" open-reel videotape, then transferred it to U-Matic and then to Beta. (I got an A-.)"
Things I love about this video:
The credit sequence is the first minute and a half of a five minute video.
Spock's ears aren't pointy but they are really big. Nice casting! Also his sideburns.
The way it actually mimics the real series which had a very low budget and had to make due with existing sets around the studio (hence the time travel episodes and the ones where planets looks exactly like locations on earth, which was actually part of the plot).
The last point was probably not intentional and is just my bs film studies degree rearing its ugly, over-analyzing head. Found at boingboing.net
